How to choose wet Magnetic Separator?
The magnetic strength of magnetic separator surface is different, and the applicable materials are also different. The stronger the magnetic field, the greater the ability to attract weak magnetic materials. The tank body of the wet magnetic separator has three forms, which are divided into semi-counter current tank, counter-current tank and downstream tank, and the semi-counter-current tank and downstream tank can be used in combination.
1. Semi-counter current tank. It is suitable for rough selection or beneficiation of strong magnetic minerals with a particle size between 0-0.5mm, especially for the beneficiation of ore particles between 0-0.15mm.
2. Countercurrent tank. It is suitable for roughing or sweeping of strong magnetic minerals with particle size between 0-0.6mm. It is especially suitable for heavy medium recovery in coal washing plants, etc.
3.Downstream tank. It is suitable for roughing or refining minerals with a particle size between 0-6mm.
4.Both the semi-counter current tank and the downstream tank can be used in series to improve the concentrate grade.

Working principle
Slurry enters chute through ore tank, and then gets into separating zone by waterpower. Minerals with strong magnetism is absorbed on the barrel’s surface under the force of magnetic field and get into the ore concentrate outlet along with the rotation of cylinder. After leaving the magnetic field, they flow into ore concentrate box by the action of gravity and flushing water. Gangue and ore with weak magnetism are discharged into a pipe in the opposite direction of cylinder rotation.
